First Week @Metanomy

It has been a week and I realise I have so much to learn. It is easy to do a few searches, find the hardware and essentially whatever resources you need, but the issue is putting it all together and making it work.

Anyone watching Youtube video of someone flying never gets to learn the overwhelming work involved in putting it all together, and yes that applies to kits as well. At some point I was resolved to settling to a conceptual Flying Thing, sit back and fly my perfect albeit imaginary plane. Now the problem with that is making a demo, short of an invasive procedure to link my brain to a HDMI out port or USB, well I guess you can fill out the rest.

Coby is a perfectionist. Don't even get me started on James. This is both good and bad. They do everything and check everything, and then some. They are making the airframe for the demo, and thus far I am not sure whether I want to fly it or hung it like an ornament.

I am working on the electronics and software and I find myself constantly  struggling with bits and pieces of poorly documented protocols, inexplicable version changes (from Beta to Beta!!!), hardware resets, sleepy body from good eating, name it!!!

Overall my experience has been awesome :-)
